Beneath the chosen

A 2D pixel art platformer set in an ancient cave filled with traps, hostile creatures, and forgotten secrets. You are relentlessly pursued by the Wyvern Guardian, a constant presence that gives you no time to rest as you move through the environment.  

Your mission is to collect the fragments of the Titan’s Mask, an ancient artifact whose power could bring disaster to the world. Each fragment brings you closer to the exit… and closer to danger.  

Explore, jump, fight, and survive as you decide how far you are willing to push your luck. Only by gathering all the fragments and defeating the guardian can you escape the cave alive.

License and Authorship

The video game titled Beneath the Chosen has been entirely created by the members of the development team.

All content included in the game—including, but not limited to, art, animations, pixel art, fonts, assets, interfaces, character design, backgrounds, music, visual design, narrative, and code—has been originally developed by the team and is solely their own work.

Beneath the Chosen was developed using the Unity engine, belongs to the platformer genre, and features a visual style entirely created in pixel art, designed from scratch by its authors. No third-party resources that infringe copyright or materials with incompatible licenses were used.

All intellectual property rights and copyright of the video game Beneath the Chosen belong exclusively to the members of the development team. Any reproduction, distribution, modification, or use of the content outside the terms established herein is prohibited without the express authorization of the authors.

However, the development team expressly grants, free of charge and in perpetuity, the Global Game Jam (GGJ) platform the right to host, display, and distribute Beneath the Chosen through its official platforms, exclusively within the context of the Game Jam and its promotion, without this implying a transfer of copyright or intellectual property of the work.

This license does not imply the waiver of any moral or economic rights of the authors over the video game, which remain fully in effect.
